  1. Pre-heat oven @ 325 F
  2. Drain the beans
  3. In a cast iron pot, render the bacon, add the onion, the garlic, mustard seed, sugar, salt and pepper. Stir to combine and let sweat for a couple minutes
  4. Add the beans, mix well add about 1-2 coup of water so that the water goes up just about the top of the beans
  5. Place into your oven for an hour, mix from time to time
