Ingredients

  • 8 Endives
  • 1 Tsp of sugar
  • 1 Lemon juice
  • [Clarified Butter](Clarified Butter.md)

Method

  1. Clean up the endives
  2. Boil water in a large pan
  3. When the water is boiling add the sugar and the lemon juice, then add the endives and cook for 30 minutes
  4. Drain, squeeze the endive a bit to get some of the water out
  5. Heat some [Clarified Butter](Clarified Butter.md) in a frying pan
  6. Add the endives in the pan and braise for about 3 minutes
