Nice and simple dessert recipe.

Ingredients

  • 75 cl of Milk
  • 200 gr of Sugar
  • 1 Vanilla Bean
  • 6 Eggs
  • 8 little Pyrex glass

Method

  1. Preheat the oven to 250F
  2. Bring the milk to a boil
  3. Split the vanilla bean and scrap the inside, then add it all to the milk and let infuse a few minutes
  4. Mix the eggs and 100 gr of sugar
  5. Bring some water to a boil
  6. On medium heat, place the rest of the sugar into a casserole, add 1 or 2 teaspoon of water and let caramelize (nice amber color)
  7. Pour the caramel into the cups
  8. Mix the milk into the egg/sugar mixture (remove the vanilla bean)
  9. Pour the mixture into the cups
  10. Place the cups into a plate then add the boiling water up to half-height of the cups
  11. Place into the warm oven for about 1 hour
  12. After an hour the cream should be solid but wiggly
  13. Take out the cup, let cool a few minutes and place into the refrigerator for about 2 hours

Turn out the cream into small plates and serve.
