Try it, it makes wonders. Use it as a base for other sauce or as a substitute for butter when grilling, it will not burn.

Ingredients

  • 1 stick (1 cup, 113 gr) of butter (salted or unsalted)

Method

  1. Melt the butter in saucepan over low heat, do not stir
  2. Wait until the butter is completly melted
  3. Remove from the heat
  4. Skim off the foam
  5. Slowly pour off the clear yellow liquid, leaving behind the white mild residue (solid bits)
  6. Cover and store in the fridge

Note: 1 stick will make about 3/4 of a stick. You can keep it a few weeks or froze it.
