Ingredients

  • 450 g of chicken breast or chicken tender
  • 60 g of flour
  • 50 g of corn starch
  • 1 tsp of salt
  • 1 tsp of black pepper
  • 1 tsp of garlic powder
  • 1 tsp of paprika
  • 0.5 tsp of hot chili pepper
  • 1 Thai chili 
  • 1 dl or so Sparkling water
  • 2 Tbsp of honey
  • 1 Tbsp of soja sauce
  • Olive oil
  • 2 Tbsp of Butter or Olive oil
  • 1 or 2 branch of scallion

Method

  1. Slice very finely the Thai Chili pepper, set aside

  2. Slice finely the scallion

  3. Cut your chicken is 2-3 cm pieces (1 in)

  4. Place the chick in a bowl

  5. Mix in the flour, cornstarch, salt, cracked black pepper, garlic powder, paprika, chili pepper

  6. Mix

  7. Add the sparkling water

  8. Mix again

  9. In a pan, heat some oil, on medium high

  10. Place the chicken to fry for about 5 mn

  11. Take the chicken out, set aside

  12. In a pan, heat the butter on medium

  13. When the butter foams, add the soja sauce

  14. Add the honey 

  15. Mix well

  16. Add back the chicken

  17. Coat the meat until the pan starts to dry out

  18. Plate, add the scallion on top and serve
