Ingredients

  • 500 gr of all-purpose flour
  • 60 gr of unsalted butter
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 cup of milk
  • 1 cup of sugar
  • 1 bag of dry yeast
  • Some canola oil
  • Powdered Sugar

Method

  1. Mix all the ingredients together, like for any dough
  2. Heat the oil in a pan
  3. Roll the dough in 2 cm strip
  4. Cut the strip in 10 cm length and 0.3 mm thick
  5. Make a slit into the strip, then pull one end into the hole, all the way
  6. Place 3-4 pieces at a time into the pan
  7. Place the cooked strip on a piece of paper towel to absorb some of the oil
  8. Then place the strip into a bowl and sprinkle powdered sugar on top
