Ingredients
- 1 Sheet of Puff Pastry dough
- 400 g Leeks (white part, about 4 pieces)
- 1 dl (1/3 cup) Heavy Cream
- 100 g of butter (1 stick)
- 70 g of Gruyere (shredded)
- 70 g of Bacon (from a slab)
- Salt & Pepper
Method
- Pre-heat oven to 350 F
- Slice the bacon very finely
- Shred the gruyere
- Slice finely the leeks
- While the leeks cook, layout your dough in the mini-pie dish
- On medium heat, place half of the butter, then add the leeks
- Salt and pepper and cook the leeks for about 4 minutes while steering
- Cut the rest of the butter in small part
- Dry out the leeks, then add the cream and the rest of the butter and let it cook another 3-4 minutes
- Dry out the leeks, personally I strain the mixture to make sure it is not too dry
- Now fill the little pie with the leeks
- Add a bit of bacon and top it with a little bit of cheese
- Place the pies in the oven for about 25 mn
