Ingredients

  • 2 lb Mussels
  • 4-5 cloves of garlic
  • 1/4 cup of Parsley
  • 1/4 cup of Cilantro
  • Salt & Pepper
  • Olive Oil
  • Iron cast pan or grill plate

Method

  1. Clean the mussels if needed
  2. Peel, lightly crush the garlic then cut finely
  3. Cut finely the parsley & cilantro
  4. Place mussels in a ziplock bag or a plastic container
  5. Add Salt & Pepper to taste
  6. Add garlic, cilantro & Parsley
  7. Drizzle olive oil on top of the mussels, about 2-3 Tbsp
  8. Shake well and seal the container and refrigerate for about 30-60 mn
  9. 10 minutes before girll time, pate the iron cast pan or grill plate into your grill and pre-heat the grill
  10. Once the grill is hot, pour the mussels on top of the grill plate, cook for 5-10 minutes, stir from time to time
