Another classic Thai recipe.

Ingredients

  • 700 gr of beef
  • 10-12 cloves of garlic
  • 1 onion
  • 1 green pepper
  • 1 or 2 thai chili
  • 3 Tbsp of Thai Fish Sauce
  • 1 Tbsp of Soy Sauce
  • 1 Tsp of sugar
  • 1 cup of Chicken broth
  • 1 handful of Thai Basil

Method

  1. Slice the onion, green pepper
  2. Slice half of garlic and Press (crush) the rest of the garlic
  3. Cut the hot pepper in large pieces
  4. Cut the meat thin cut again until you get a coarse minced beef (lazy? just use ground beef)
  5. Add a Tbsp of oil into the pan, high heat
  6. Add the onion & green pepper until tender (couple of minutes), then take out
  7. Add the garlic and cook for about 1 minute
  8. Add the beef and cook until it colors
  9. Add the fish sauce, soy sauce and sugar
  10. Add the chicken broth, cook a couple of minutes
  11. Cut the basil in big pieces, add to the meat and cook for 30 seconds or so until the leaves get all shiny
