An easy way to make small tatin

Ingredients

  • 2 Apple
  • 40 gr of sugar
  • 40 gr of butter
  • 1 puff pastry sheet

Method

  1. Pre-heat oven to 400 F
  2. Peel the apples
  3. Remove the core, then cut, first in quarter, then each quarter in 3 or 4 slices
  4. Cut circles of dough so that will will be just a bit larger than the mold
  5. In a pan, medium heat, add the butter and sugar
  6. Let it cook for a few minutes until it caramelize
  7. Add the apples and cook for 5 minutes or so
  8. Add the apples to the mold
  9. Cover is hole with the puff pastry
  10. Place in oven for about 20-25 mn
